Mount Dora's Lighthouse

Set along the edge of Grantham Point Park on Lake Dora, the Mount Dora Lighthouse is Mount Dora's most iconic landmark and is even referred to as "The Port of Mount Dora". Built as a navigational aid for boaters and fishermen coming from Tavares, the Mount Dora Lighthouse was completed in 1988 and stands at a striking 35-feet tall. 

Today, it remains as the only registered inland freshwater lighthouse in Florida. Visitors flock to this landmark lighthouse throughout the year for a leisurely stroll and to enjoy the picturesque backdrop of serene Lake Dora. 

The Citrus Tower

Located in Clermont, the Citrus Tower is a treasured landmark in Central Florida and is often regarded as one of Florida's first true attractions. Constructed in 1956, the Citrus Tower sits atop one of the highest hills in Florida's ridge sections and can be seen for miles.

This iconic 226-foot tall structure (equivalent to 22 stories) serves as a colossal tribute to Florida's abundant citrus industry and offers stunning panoramic views from its glass-enclosed observation deck.

Winter Garden's Clock Tower

The charming city of Winter Garden is filled with several top amenities, sought-after communities, and is rich with history. Its signature landmark is located in the thriving and historic downtown area of Centennial Plaza, the Winter Garden Clock Tower. 
 
Constructed in 2002, the tower was built in celebration and preparation of the City's centennial in 2003. Today, it stands as a shining beacon for the serene atmosphere, history, and 'outdoor living room' features located in the center of popular downtown Winter Garden.

Orlando's Lake Eola Fountain

Serving as a central part of the bustling city of Orlando, the landmark Lake Eola fountain is the centerpiece of the popular amenity called Lake Eola Park. Found in the heart of Downtown Orlando, the land was originally owned by a wealthy cattle baron and was eventually gifted to the City of Orlando.

Known for its meticulously manicured grounds and serene walking paths, the park is also home to The Chinese Ting and Linton E. Allen Memorial Fountain as well as its family of swans and swamp shaped paddle boats. 

The Howey Mansion

Located in the community of Howey-in-the-Hills sits the landmark - The Howey Mansion. Named for the founder of the community, William John Howey, this Mediterranean Revival-style mansion was built in 1925. 

Set on fifteen acres, this historic mansion is a twenty-room architectural marvel and was ahead of its time with features such as barrel tile roofing and even a secret passageway. Today, this stunning home can be seen through public and private tours and is also home to community events and a popular venue for weddings, meetings, and more.

St. Johns Rivership, Barbara-Lee

Looking back at the popular steamships that traveled many American rivers, the rivership Barbara-Lee is a true historical landmark and Central Florida gem. Built-in 1986 and refurbished in 2012, this stunning ship is the only genuine sternwheeler sailing on the St. Johns River today and measures at 105 feet.

Distinguished by its trademark wrought iron railings and bright red paddle wheels, the five-story Barbara-Lee provides visitors an elegant glimpse into the past and unique experience while sailing the St. Johns River. From daily events such as sightseeing cruises, dinner dances, and more, the beloved Barbara-Lee is truly 'more than a cruise,' and is housed on Lake Monroe in the Historic Downtown Sanford area. 

The Villages, FL Cattle Drive

Located off of State Road 44 at the main entrance of Brownwood® Paddock Square are the iconic cow statues and a popular landmark of The Villages, Florida. Brownwood® holds an early 19th century Florida cattle town theme and also encompasses a distinctive red barn centerpiece, but nothing stands out more than its impressive cattle drive scene. The 12 bronze steer and cowboy give a subtle glimpse into a piece of Florida's rugged past and was sculpted by a Utah man named J. Michael Wilson who used great lengths of detail to create an accurate representation. 

Today, this incredible sight attracts many folks to stop by and grab photos and also serves as a great way to kick-off the unique social experience that awaits ahead in The Villages, Florida.

The Villages, Florida is also home to two other unique town squares including the Key West themed area of Lake Sumter Landing®, and the Spanish themed area of Spanish Springs®. 

Daytona's 'World Famous' Beach

Daytona Beach is known for its nickname of 'world's most famous beach'. The beaches 23-mile shoreline has been used by visitors and residents to relax, run, and even ride as equestrian adventures are available right on the beach!

Two of the six wooden piers located in Florida are situated right on the famous Daytona Beach as well. With plenty of sunshine days, a coastal breeze, and tons of surrounding entertainment and more, the beach of Daytona is another iconic landmark loved by many.
