Clermont, FL - ERA Grizzard is proud to announce voluntarily participating in helping throughout New Beginnings Thrift Store. ERA Grizzard is a full-service real estate company serving Clermont and the surrounding areas.
With everything that is going on at ERA Grizzard, we always make time to give back to our community! Recently the agents and staff from ERA Grizzard Real Estate volunteered their time at New Beginnings Thrift Store of Central Florida. Thanks to our office coordinator in Clermont, Aimee Maurer, we were able to gather a group of agents/office staff for this volunteer event.
Volunteering for a Good Cause
Our amazing team of volunteers did numerous tasks, such as organizing clothing bins and helping on the sales floor with donors & buyers. The tasks we were able to complete in three hours would've taken the staff at New Beginnings DAYS to finish!
At New Beginnings Thrift Store, visitors can shop With a Mission! New Beginnings of Central Florida operates the Clermont thrift store to help generate funding for their homelessness & poverty prevention programs.
Homelessness in Central Florida is a Big Problem
According to the National Alliance to End Homelessness, there are about 30,000 people without a home on any given night. New Beginnings has made it their mission to help as many of these people as possible by building housing and providing resources to get them back on their feet. They will set them up with food, clothing, professional training, housing, counseling and transportation. They even connect those in need with community programs to further provide assistance!
