What does a Pokémon look for in a place to call home?

Is it a cozy bungalow near Downtown Orlando’s PokéHotspot of Lake Eola? Perhaps it’s Central Florida’s famed lakefront Real Estate complete with a backyard pokegym that’s the envy of all the neighbors.

We’ve got the insider secrets to where Central Florida’s Pokémon live, play, and battle:

Orlando’s Lake Eola

Downtown Orlando has quickly become the 90210 of PokéRealEstate. With the iconic Lake Eola as the perfect retreat from the rigors of battle, the market is at a premium.

Pidgeys live in perfect harmony alongside the famous swans, but PokéTrainers should be prepared. Expect large crowds as Pokémon are flocking to find their piece of PokéParadise.

Downtown Mount Dora

Even Pokémon can’t escape the charm of Mount Dora. The boutique shopping and local dining are magnets for trainers and Pokémon alike.

Take a stroll along Donnelly Street and say hello to some of the friendliest Pokémon in Central Florida. Just be sure to have a Pokéball in hand - Psyducks have been spotted waiting to board the seaplanes and boat tours on Lake Dora.

Winter Garden

Find a Charzard on the biketrails, a Snorlax sipping craftbeer, or a Jigglypuff in the candy shop. The nostalgia of this ‘Modern Day Mayberry has made Downtown Winter Garden a Pokémon haven.

With new home construction on the rise in West Orange County, Pokémon have the unique ability to truly customize their living spaces. We’ve heard that Water Pokémon are choosing upgraded pools, while the home with close proximity to PokéGyms top the wish lists of those looking to ‘evolve’ the fastest.

The Villages, FL

This world famous Active Adult Community is home to all levels of Pokémon from Dratini to Dragonite. However, the Grass Pokémon are crowding the golf courses and causing extra traffic in the golf cart lanes.

Any inconveniences to residents were alleviated by Pikachu who was spotted dancing on the square to 90s hits at Lake Sumter Landing.

DeLand

The friendly atmosphere and hometown flair that can be found throughout DeLand have lured many top Pokémon to this prime Real Estate.

Bulbasaurs have become the Renaissance Men of Volusia County. They’re popping up in classes at Stetson University, taking in the arts at the local theatre, and dueling among the local eateries and shops on Woodland Ave.

Central Florida has truly become the ultimate melting pot of Pokémon Real Estate.
