Camping is another favorite pastime at the Wekiwa Springs State Park including family camping, backpack camping, and even canoe camping! Picnic areas are also available, along with a playground, volleyball court, and horseshoe pit, making for a fun-filled hotspot for locals to enjoy. 

Parks, playgrounds, and ball fields are also scattered throughout the neighborhood, including Holderness Park, Wekiva Hills Park, and Riverbend Park.

Wekiva Golf Club, a semi-private club, offers an 18-hole golf course amid mature trees and rolling fairways. It also offers children's golf instruction programs.

Sweetwater Golf and Country Club offers members access to an 18-hole Scottish course, fitness facilities, pool, and dining. 

Relaxation by the Wekiva River

Wekiva Island is a marina and a favorite gathering spot and watering hole. Located on the river, it hosts beer and wine festivals, concerts, and holds wine and paint events.

Guests can stroll and relax on the boardwalk, rent kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and cabanas, or relax by the fire pit.
