# Orlando: From Real Estate to Foodies - Ranking Lists We Landed on in 2016

Orlando tops the lists of some of the most desired lists in the nation!
Some lists hightlight our business vitality, career opportunities, and Real Estate popularity. Other lists show the lighter side of the area with rankings such as ‘Best Place for New Year’s Celebrations,’ and ‘Most Caffeinated.’
Here are some of our favorite Orlando Rankings and whether or not our locals agree!
## #2 Most Fun City in America
From our sporting events to our many entertainment centers, theme parks, sought-after shopping districts, and unique eateries - the list really does go on and on.
But Orlando isn’t the second most fun simply thanks to our widely recognized tourist destinations. Locals will tell you that sometimes the lesser-known hotspots are truly what makes Orlando such a fun, one-of-a-kind place to call home.

## #1 Most Pet-Friendly City
Thanks to our number of pet businesses, veterinarians per capita, and being home to the fifth-most pet-friendly restaurants, Orlando brought home the ranking of Number 1 'Most Pet-Friendly City' by WalletHub!
## #1 Best City for Recreation
Orlando was also ranked number number one 'Best City for Recreation.' The ranking is based on the following categories: climate, cost, entertainment and recreation facilities, and the quality of parks.

Locals will tell you that Orlando has some of the most delicious, unique dining experiences around! Priding themselves on local eateries in one-of-a-kind communities, it’s no wonder we’ve been ranked the 'Best City for Foodies' according to WalletHub.
Some of the criteria for this ranking included accessibility to quality restaurants, number of food festivals, and affordability. From brunching in Winter Park to cocktails in Mills 50 or upscale dinners in Dr. Phillips, Orlando’s food scene really is ‘delicious!’
## #5 Top Moving Destination 
Orlando has also been ranked the number 5 'Best Place to Move.' With its wide variety of home types for sale from lakefront living to downtown condos, there’s something for everyone here! The career opportunities, vibrant entertainment, and overall quality of life contribute to Orlando landing its notable ranking from Penske!
Some other rankings from 2016 include Number 4 “Fastest-Growing Metro in America,” Number 4 “ Best City for Boaters,” Number 2 “Most Cost-Friendly City to do Business,” and Number 1 “Best American City for Working Moms!”
