“I was born and raised in The City Beautiful but currently live in the East Orlando Community of Avalon Park - an amazing Community that is close to niche neighborhoods, the culture of Downtown, and less than 30 minutes to the beach and the theme parks.
On the weekends you will find me anywhere from Mills Park to Cocoa Beach. The one place I would visit over and over again is Fort Wilderness at Disney! It is the perfect mix of outdoors and modern conveniences.
You can rent a golf cart and head to the dinner show and the saloon, then watch the electrical boat parade followed by the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the boat dock.
Orlando is vastly becoming not only a place known for it's tourism but a place where locals gather to create memories with their friends and families that last a lifetime.” - Jenn Grimes, Realtor in Orlando, Florida.
Last but not least, I am conveniently close to popular malls and Orange Avenue’s Sodo shopping plaza!
One of my favorite hotspots is the Amway Center - I enjoy watching our local Magic play, and so many concerts come to the Orlando area to perform. After the concert or sporting event, you’re just walking distance to great restaurants and more entertainment!” Jami Schmitzer, Realtor in Orlando, Florida.
“I love to live in Winter Park - there are so many things to do.
We have biking trails that span from the Orlando Fashion Square Mall into Winter Park and through Oviedo.
I also love going to Orlando City and Pride soccer games at nearby Downtown Orlando. The Orlando area has so much to offer every resident from all walks of life. We have it all here!” Franki Gonzalez, Realtor in Orlando, Florida.
“From lively dining and international shopping to scenic parks
The festive area of ‘Restaurant Row’ serves up some of the finest fare at the top restaurant names in the country along with acclaimed local eateries. A few of my favorites are, Slate, Urbain 40, and Rocco's Tacos. Also, Le Café de Paris is a great little French place that has fabulous food - amazing coffee, crepes and quiche!
There are also some great parks nearby! I love the Bill Frederick Park at Turkey lake which is one of the top-five rated fishing lakes in the state of Florida. It is designed for nature lovers and provides several recreational activities and scenic views.
The Dr. Phillips Community Park includes areas for picnics, hiking, baseball, basketball and soccer, and features a splash playground, rental pavilions and a fun dog park for your four-legged pals. The Metro West/Dr. Phillips area has something for everyone!” Erin Tuttle, Realtor in Orlando, Florida.
