4 Highlights You Need to Check Out in Leesburg, FL

tom_pricket_Leesburg_1Hello, I am Tom Prickett a Realtor in Leesburg, FL with ERA Grizzard Real Estate.

I have lived here in Leesburg for the past twelve years and consider myself an expert in this area.

Let me share with you some of the highlights of attractions available in Leesburg, FL and the surrounding area.

1.)  Spend a Saturday Morning at Our Farmer’s Market

For starters, we have a Farmer’s Market in Downtown Leesburg from 8am to 12pm on Saturday mornings. It's a great place to meet your neighbors and purchase some homemade and homegrown produce.

2.) Take in a Show at Our Local Theaters

We have a variety of theater groups with stage performances that are bound to please. Leesburg has the Melon Patch Theater, Eustis has Bay Street Players, and Mount Dora has Ice House Theater.

3.) Pick-up a Page Turner and Relax

One of the family highlights is the new public library available on Main Street in Downtown Leesburg. Books may be checked out or purchased at the library.

4.) Grab a Bite to Eat

Local restaurants offer a variety of fares. The retirement community provides the largest demand throughout the year, and they are critical of those who do not live up to expectations. Good restaurants may be found throughout Leesburg with the greatest concentration on SR 441 near the Lake Square Mall. Start Downtown Leesburg for lunch, while dinner menus abound at restaurants near the mall.

Leesburg has a long history as a vibrant, family oriented community. Please come and see. I know you will be pleased!
